Slow Down Your Yoga
As Yoga teachers & light workers we have a responsibility to “be the change”, to truly and authentically be the light, spread the light, live light and travel light.
YET we are all still only human and there will be moments when we lose our balance, where we maybe don’t feel like we are enough or simply just have “bad days”. Embrace these feelings, allow yourself to BE and then bring yourself back to the light. Continue to challenge yourself, keep diving deep, doing the soul work and don’t lose sight of what brought to your mat and to your teacher training or your practice in the first place.
By helping others YOU are part of shifting the energy on this earth; you are part of helping people find the light within themselves and move into higher consciousness. The world needs this energy shift more than ever and with a true, deep and authentic yoga practice you will start to change, you will want to be better, you will love feeling better and you will in turn shift your energy and this will shift others.
A POWERFUL WAY TO MOVE INTO SUCH A WAY OF BEING IS TO SLOW DOWN YOUR YOGA PRACTICE. TAKING STOCK, MEDITATING AND CONTEMPLATING, MOVING MORE GENTLY INTO AN ASANAHELPS SHIFT SELF AWARENESS AND PERSPECTIVES TO NEXT LEVEL PROCESSING. TO UNDERSTAND LIFE, PERSONALLY, AND COMMUNALLY, IS MUCH EASIER IN GENTLE SLOW MO 🙂
Being part of a yoga community is a blessing, don’t worry about what clothes you should wear to yoga, seriously wear your pajamas if that’s what is most comfortable for you. Don’t worry about what others look like on their mats, don’t focus on what is going on around you but focus on your breath and your movement and your balance – YOUR YOGA JOURNEY.
