Testimonials
“Candace is a deeply kind and loving person who has dedicated her life to yoga both as a physical practice and as a way to navigate the world with kindness. She cares for her students and the world around her in a way that is infectiously filled with joy and is always checking in with her students to ensure they feel safe and supported. Attending a retreat with her is a lovely form of self-care artfully infused with easy laughter, thoughtful movement, and a deep appreciation for life. I had a lovely time and created truly lasting memories while on retreat with her in Ecuador and can’t wait to see what she goes on to offer in the future. ”

Practice Gratitude – Benefits & More
I am sure that you have heard your yoga teacher speak about practicing gratitude or holding space for gratitude-
If you are not practicing gratitude daily here are some reasons to inspire you to start.
Curious about Buddhism?
Buddhism has played a central role in the spiritual, cultural, and social life of Asia, and, beginning in the 20th century, it spread to the West.
Buddhism is one of the world’s largest religions and originated 2,500 years ago in India. Buddhists believe that the human life is one of suffering, and that meditation, spiritual and physical labor, and good behavior are the ways to achieve enlightenment, or nirvana.
Why I Love Teaching Gentle Yoga
It is wonderful that approximately 20 million Americans are now doing yoga. And it is fantastic that we have countless varieties and styles of yoga — something for everyone.
I find, however, that in many communities there is a shortage of gentle yoga classes. Many people, especially middle aged and up, or those who are recovering from injuries are intimidated by yoga or don’t return after a bad yoga experience.
Gentle yoga is not only for those in their later years. I find that everyone feels good and present after a gentle, breath-connected, slower & more meditative yoga class.
