My Recent Travel to Peru
One of the highlights of my trip was exploring the city of Cusco, known as the gateway to Machu Picchu. This charming city is full of history, with its cobblestone streets, colonial architecture, and Incan ruins. I spent hours wandering through the historic center, visiting the Plaza de Armas, and exploring the San Blas neighborhood, known for its artisan workshops and galleries.
Of course, no trip to Peru would be complete without a visit to Machu Picchu. This ancient Incan citadel is one of the new seven wonders of the world, and it truly lives up to its reputation. The sheer magnitude of the site is awe-inspiring, and the views of the surrounding mountains are simply stunning. I feel so much gratitude to have been able to see some of the most beautiful landscapes in this incredible country.
In addition to the natural beauty of Peru, the food was also a highlight of my trip. Peruvian cuisine is a blend of indigenous ingredients and international influences, resulting in a unique and diverse culinary scene. The fresh fruit is absolutely delicious! The food in Peru truly exceeded my expectations and I honestly feel some of if not the best markets I have seen on my travels.

Overall, my recent trip to Peru was an unforgettable experience that I will cherish for years to come. The country’s rich history, friendly people, stunning landscapes, and vibrant culture left a lasting impression on me, and I can’t wait to return and explore more of this beautiful country. If you’re thinking about traveling to Peru, I highly recommend it – you won’t be disappointed.
