Yoga Teacher Training
These in-depth training courses consist of modules and are designed for anyone who wishes to develop their own more powerful practice, for new teacher training students, or as additional yoga training for yogi’s and yogini’s.
Hatha Yoga Teacher Training
The function of these courses are to transform individuals with activation of Self, or Self -realization, as soul purpose. These courses are developed as a practical Body, Mind and Spirit, in the understanding of classical Vedic Yoga.
This is a strong offering available for in-person training and through our online classroom. We prefer training in a small, personal teaching format as we feel this best serves the student in authentic yoga skills and wisdom transmission. We suggest at least one month per module if you choose to complete the full 200h training and a maximum of one year to complete the full 200 hour training. Should you choose in-person teacher training you can complete 200h in one month with an ongoing mentorship for a full year.
Candace and Johann are passionate about sharing their love of the “Yoga Way”, and would love to discuss these training courses in more detail with anyone interested. We look forward to connecting with you!

Johann Kotze
YOGA TEACHER (MASTER TEACHER)
Johann is the master creator and teacher of the course. Johann received extensive training in the Sivananda Yoga lineage and has a strong remedial basis. His courses are simple and holistic Hatha Yoga, with a unique, wide ranging, lifelong interest in varied spiritual traditions, modern human potential and self development. Johann has been practicing and teaching Yoga since 1990, His knowledge in this space and love for yoga is inspirational. The Sivananda Integral style was developed by one of the most authentic 20th century yogi’s. Says Johann: “For me Swami Sivananda was a true saint, and his job was similar to that of Patanjali, who acquired the status of a legendary Sage by clearly compiling and codifying a very broad, comprehensive but scattering of yoga practices.” Sivananda managed to put together a comprehensive body of work, further amplified with the remedial based Viniyoga of TKS Desikechar. Johann has traveled to India, where he studied with authentic Yoga Instructors, and received his main training from Cape Town’s traditional Sivananda ashram, with Swami Venkatsenanda as patron.

Teacher Training Reviews
“Thank you Johann and Candace for taking the time and giving me the space to learn aspects of Hatha Yoga and to develop a practice of teaching that I believe will work well for many in my community when the time comes. As we discussed, when the teacher is ready the student will appear and when the student is ready the teacher will appear. OM Shanti Shanti Shanti! Module 2 – The Art of Teaching helped me focus and create a complete Hatha Yoga sequence and style. Thank you Johann and Candace for taking the time and giving me the space to learn the many aspects of Hatha Yoga and to develop a practice of teaching that is unique to me. Whether you are looking to become a Hatha teacher or just wanting to dive deeper into the practice of Hatha Yoga, you will not be disappointed.”

“Teacher training with Johann and Candace was a real pleasure. They both come from different perspectives and cover different layers of Hatha Yoga practice and philosophy, which makes the study comprehensive and enjoyable. Their love and respect for the practice is clear and this gives a guiding light to the curriculum. I truly enjoyed every moment and I can’t wait for more. Thank you Johann and Candace.”
